The Maple Run
Celebrate the End of Winter in the North Country
April 09, 2022
8:30 am (13.1) & 9:15am (5k)
Established in 2017, The Maple Run is the premier half marathon in St. Lawrence County. We run to celebrate the end of winter, contribute to the economic growth of our community, and benefit local running programs. While The Maple Run encourages the sport of running for all, we proudly focus on supporting girls’ and women’s cross country teams from high school to collegiate levels.

Work Hard, Play Hard
You're going to train all winter for a half marathon or 5K in Spring- you deserve some kudos and great gear. 2022 will feature custom-designed and practical 4" felt coasters for 13.1 runners, our signature mini bottle of local maple syrup, and the now-iconic Maple Run crewneck sweatshirt for your toils.
To make training more fun in the winter months the Bucc Wild Run Club offers a free group run on Tuesdays, at 6 pm in Canton, NY. More information here.

What is the time limit for the Half Marathon?
The course will be open for 4 hours. This is a fair limit given the small group of EMS volunteers, and law enforcement vehicles who are giving their time to make this event a success.
-
Is the in-person run chip timed?
The 2022 Maple Run is not chip timed; however, an elapsed time display will be on site, and your finish time will be recorded. With the support of a steadily growing number of sponsors and runners, we hope to offer chip timing in 2023!
